    CLP Power Voted Hong Kong’s Most Attractive Employer Again

    ​CLP Power Hong Kong Limited (CLP Power) has been voted the Most Attractive Employer out of 75 largest companies in Hong Kong at the Randstad Employer Brand Awards 2018, the second time since Randstad launched this award in Hong Kong in 2013. The award is a public survey conducted by international human resources services firm Randstad. The accolade is testimony to CLP Power’s long-standing commitment to attract, nurture and develop talents for the Hong Kong power industry and to invest in human resources development.

    CLP Power Academy and PolyU SPEED Nurture Talent for Power Industry
    New Part-Time Degree Course in Electrical Engineering Launched

    ​CLP Power Hong Kong Limited (CLP Power) and The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU)-affiliated College of Professional and Continuing Education (CPCE) today (28 March) signed a Memorandum of Understanding in establishing the partnership in nurturing more talents in electrical engineering to cope with the needs brought about by continuing social development.  A newly launched Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) in Electrical Engineering Programme has started its admission period and, subject to approval from PolyU, the programme is expected to commence in September 2018.

    Robust and Diversified Portfolio Delivers Steady Growth

    ​CLP Holdings Limited (CLP) is pleased to announce that the Group continued to perform well in 2017 and our financial results exceeded those of the year before. In 2017, Group operating earnings increased 7.9% to HK$13,307 million from 2016. Total earnings were up 12.1% to HK$14,249 million. These earnings have enabled the Board to approve a fourth interim dividend of HK$1.14 per share for 2017. Together with the three interim dividends already paid, our total dividends this year are HK$2.91 per share, a 3.9% increase from HK$2.80 in the previous year.

    CLP Launches English Version of its Popular Liberal Studies e-Learning Portal

    ​CLP Power Hong Kong Limited (CLP Power) is committed to promoting environmental protection through a variety of channels including public education. The company launched the Liberal Studies e-Learning portal LS-energy.hk (www.ls-energy.hk) in 2011 and has been updating the content regularly to reflect changing technology. The portal has attracted more than 330,000 page views since its launch.
