    The Honourable Sir Michael Kadoorie is the Chairman of The Hongkong and Shanghai Hotels, Limited and Heliservices (Hong Kong) Limited; a Director of Sir Elly Kadoorie & Sons Limited and an Independent Non-executive Director of CK Hutchison Holdings Limited.  Until July 2015, he was an Independent Non-executive Director of Hutchison Whampoa Limited (which was privatised by way of a scheme of arrangement on  3 June 2015).  He was also an Alternate Director of Hong Kong Aircraft Engineering Company Limited from January 2007 to May 2016.  He holds a number of directorships in other companies and organisations.

    * The date given is that of appointment to the Board of China Light & Power Company, Limited, the holding company of the CLP Group prior to the Group Reorganisation in 1998.  The Hon. Sir Michael Kadoorie was appointed Chairman to the CLP Holdings Board on 31 October 1997.​​​

He is the Chairman of CLP Power Hong Kong Limited, CLP Properties Limited, CLP Property Investment Limited, Castle Peak Power Company Limited and Hong Kong Pumped Storage Development Company, Limited; an Alternate Director of CK Hutchison Holdings Limited, as well as a Director of The Hongkong and Shanghai Hotels, Limited and other companies in Hong Kong.  Until July 2015, he was an Alternate Director of Hutchison Whampoa Limited (which was privatised by way of a scheme of arrangement on 3 June 2015).

    Prior to joining the CLP Group in 1986, Mr Leigh was in private practice as a solicitor in Hong Kong and the UK. He was the Senior Legal Advisor, Company Secretary and General Manager - Corporate Affairs in the CLP Group between 1986 and 1996. He is a Director of The Hongkong and Shanghai Hotels, Limited and also a Director of Sir Elly Kadoorie & Sons Limited which manages the Kadoorie Family's interests in Hong Kong and overseas.

    ​Mr Brandler is the Chairman of Sir Elly Kadoorie & Sons Limited.  He was the Group Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of CLP Holdings Limited from 6 May 2000 to 30 September 2013.  He continued to serve on the Board of CLP Holdings as an Executive Director until his redesignation as a Non-executive Director on 1 April 2014.  Mr Brandler is an alternate to Mr William Mocatta on the Board of CLP Holdings Limited.  He is also a Director of EnergyAustralia Holdings Limited (a wholly-owned subsidiary of CLP Holdings).

    Mr Brandler holds an MA degree from Cambridge University, MBA degree from Harvard Business School, and is a Member of The Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.  He has had an extensive career as a banker in the energy and utility sector in North America, Europe and, since 1995, in Asia. His experience covers power sector deregulation in the United States during the 1980s, and, moving back to London in 1989, the UK electricity industry privatisation and deregulation in the early 1990s.  Immediately prior to joining CLP, Mr Brandler was Head of Asia Pacific Corporate Finance at Schroders, the UK investment bank, based in Hong Kong.

    Mr Brandler is currently a Non-executive Director and Deputy Chairman of The Hongkong and Shanghai Hotels, Limited, a Non-executive Director of Tai Ping Carpets International Limited and an Independent Non-executive Director of MTR Corporation Limited.  He is also the Chairman of the Board of Governors of the Chinese International School Foundation as well as an Alternate Director of Hong Kong Golf Association Limited.  He was the Chairman of The Hong Kong General Chamber of Commerce from May 2008 to May 2010.​

    Dr Lee holds a BSc degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Hong Kong, an MSc degree with distinction from Imperial College, University of London and a PhD from the University of Bath, UK. He is a Chartered Engineer, a Fellow of the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers and an Honorary Fellow of the Association of the Electricity Supply Industry of East Asia and the Western Pacific, of which he was the President in 1992.  Dr Lee is the Chairman of Longmen Group Limited and a Director of Metrojet Limited and Heliservices (Hong Kong) Limited.  He is an Honorary Professor of the University of Hong Kong and has previously taught at the University of New South Wales in Australia.  Dr Lee first joined the CLP Group in 1976 and was the Group Executive Director of CLP Holdings before his retirement in 2007.​

    Mr Kadoorie holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Communication from Boston University and a FAA Commercial Pilot’s Licence (Helicopter).  Prior to joining Sir Elly Kadoorie & Sons Limited in 2017, he completed an intensive Putonghua course at Tsinghua University in Beijing.

    Mr Kadoorie is the son of The Hon Sir Michael Kadoorie, Chairman of the Company.  He is a Director of Sir Elly Kadoorie & Sons Limited, overseeing a number of Kadoorie family interests in Hong Kong and overseas and, as such, is associated with the substantial shareholders of the Company.  He is also a Non-executive Director of The Hongkong and Shanghai Hotels, Limited (“HSH”), and a Director of Heliservices (Hong Kong) Limited and Metrojet Limited.  Prior to his appointment to the Board of HSH in 2017, Mr Kadoorie completed various internships in commercial property companies, Schroders Bank in London and at CLP Group in Hong Kong.
