    CLP Power Donates Anti-Virus Supplies
    Supporting Schools and People in Need in the Fight against COVID-19

    ​The coronavirus outbreak in Hong Kong appears to be slowing, but it is essential that anti-virus measures are maintained to prevent new infections. CLP Power Hong Kong Limited (CLP Power) has shown its care to the community and the people in need through various non-governmental organisations and community partners.  It has teamed up with Hong Kong Community Anti-Coronavirus Link for donating 100,000 surgical masks to underprivileged families through around 230 secondary schools to safeguard students' health when classes resume. CLP Power has also donated more than 100,000 bottles of disinfectant sprays to people in need in its supply areas with the support of The Lok Sin Tong Benevolent Society, Kowloon and community partners.

    CLP 2020 Annual General Meeting – Ballot Result for Right of Admission

    ​Due to the COVID-19 situation and to ensure the safety of CLP’s shareholders and others attending the meeting, the number of shareholders permitted to attend the physical meeting of the AGM in person is limited to 50 and prior registration is required. The registration period ended at 5:00pm on 27 April 2020. As there was an over-application, a ballot was conducted.

    Earnings Recalibrated While Strong Fundamentals Support Long-term Outlook

    ​CLP Holdings Limited (CLP) today announced its 2019 Annual Results. Operating earnings decreased 20.5% to HK$11,121 million, reflecting the expected lower permitted rate of return in Hong Kong, a reduction in its share of earnings in India following the strategic partial-divestment, and the continued challenges in Australia. Earnings in Mainland China and Southeast Asia were higher. The Board is recommending a fourth interim dividend for 2019 of HK$1.19 per share. Total dividends per share for 2019 are HK$3.08, an increase of 2.0% from 2018.
