Located about 85km south of Sydney in New South Wales, the 440MW Tallawarra A Power Station commenced operation in January 2009 and is one of Australia's most efficient gas-fired power stations.  The Tallawarra B plant, with a generation capacity of 320MW, began commercial operations in June 2024, providing flexible, fast-start capacity to support a reliable power supply during times of peak electricity demand.
