CLP formed a joint venture with the Sinohydro Renewable Energy Company Limited to develop and operate Changling II Wind Farm in Jilin. It was commissioned in 2009. The initial capacity is 49.5MW, comprises of 33 x 1.5MW units wind turbines from Goldwind and with the possibility of future expansion. The wind farm has been registered as a “Clean Development Mechanism” (CDM) project with the United Nations in December 2010.
