Hekou Wind Farm is located in Dongying City in the eastern part of Shandong Province. It is jointly owned by CLP and a subsidiary of China Shenhua Energy and was commissioned in 2009.
The wind farm has a capacity of 49.5MW and comprises of 24 x 2MW units & 1 x 1.5MW units wind turbines from Repower. It has been registered as a “Clean Development Mechanism” (CDM) project with the United Nations in July 2009.
