Jiangbian Hydro Power Station  is the fifth hydro station in a cascade along the Jiulong River in Sichuan province. CLP managed the engineering and construction, and operation of the plant. This has been a challenging project in a remote and mountainous area of Sichuan. The project commenced operation in June 2011.

The Jiangbian project contributes to the welfare of local communities and has improved the local road infrastructure. It has also set a model for higher safety standards.
