Lijin Wind Farm is located in eastern Shandong Province and is being developed in two phases by a joint venture between CLP and a subsidiary of China Shenhua Energy. Each phase has a capacity of 49.5MW and has entered service in 2009 (Lijin I) and 2010 (Lijin II). Lijin I comprises of 24 x 2MW units & 1 x 1.5MW unit wind turbines from Repower and  was registered as a "Clean Development Mechanism" (CDM) project with the United Nations in Jun 2009.
