The 100MW Qian’an III wind farm comprising of 40 x 2.5MW wind turbines was connected to grid in December 2021.

With a total installed capacity of 199MW, the Qian’an I to III windfarms are currently the largest single site wind asset in CLP’s portfolio and the first grid parity wind project as well as the one with the first 5MW battery energy storage system.
