CLP initially invested in Gale Solar Farm, an operational project, in 2018 to expand its renewable portfolio. A 25-year, fixed-tariff power purchase agreement with Solar Energy Corporation of India Limited (SECI) is in place.
CLP has a 50% indirect equity ownership in Gale Solarfarms Limited held through Apraava Energy. CDPQ indirectly owns 50% through its equity stake in Apraava Energy.
