CLP formed a joint-venture company in 2009 with China Wind Power Group (CLP-CWP Wind Power Investment Limited). This company went on to form a joint venture with Shanghai Shenhua to develop and own Qujiagou and Mazongshan wind farms in Fuxin City, Liaoning. The total capacity of the wind farms is 99MW. Qujiagou has been in service since 2009 while Mazongshan commenced operation in Jan 2010.

Qujiagou project comprises of 33 x 1.5MW units wind turbines from Sinovel and was registered as a "Clean Development Mechanism" (CDM) project with the United Nations in December 2010.
