Rongcheng I Wind Farm

Rongcheng Wind Farm is located in the eastern part of Shandong Province. The farm was constructed in three phases and has a combined capacity of 147.8MW (Phase I: 48.8MW ; Phases II and III: 2 x 49.5MW). It is a joint venture between CLP and a subsidiary of the China Shenhua Energy Group.

Rongcheng I comprises of 39 x 1.25MW units wind turbines from Suzlon, was commissioned in 2008.  It was registered as a "Clean Development Mechanism" (CDM) project with the United Nations in February 2009.
