Shuangliao I Wind Farm

Located in Jilin Province, in the northeastern part of the Mainland, near the border with Inner Mongolia, Shuangliao Wind Farm (Phase I & II) has a total capacity of 99MW. It is owned by a joint venture between CLP and a subsidiary of the China Datang Corporation.

Phase I comprises of 58 x 850kW units wind turbines from Gamesa, and Phase II comprises of 33 x 1.5MW units wind turbines from Goldwind. They were commissioned in 2007 and 2009 respectively. Phase I & II were registered as "Clean Development Mechanism" (CDM) projects with the United Nations in 2007 & 2010 respectively.
