Mr Carlo Wolters is appointed as the Group Chief Operating Officer effective 1 January 2026.  He joined CLP on 1 August 2025 as the Group Chief Operating Officer – Designate until 31 December 2025.  Mr Carlo Wolters is responsible for the oversight and governance of the Group operations, project management and capability to deliver the business plan, and for the procurement and supply chain management group standards and sustainable procurement.  He also leads CLP’s occupational health, safety, and environment function.

Mr Carlo Wolters is a Director of EnergyAustralia Holdings Ltd., a subsidiary of the CLP Group.

Before joining CLP, Mr Carlo Wolters was the Chief Executive Officer of N.V. EPZ, a Dutch-German utility which owns and operates a nuclear, wind and solar portfolio and is involved in developing two additional nuclear units.  Mr Carlo Wolters has extensive technical and operational governance experience and prior to EPZ, he held senior roles in Vattenfall, accountable for asset management, environment and performance improvement of Vattenfall’s diverse portfolio of assets in Northern Europe.  Mr Carlo Wolters brings strong technical knowledge, a safety mindset and track record of improving performance across multiple technologies.
