Major Responsibilities Held with the Group
Mr Vian Davys is appointed as the Managing Director – Growth Markets effective 1 October 2025. He is responsible for overseeing the development of new renewable energy businesses in Taiwan Region and Southeast Asia, as well as managing CLP's existing investments in Ho-Ping Power Station in Taiwan Region and Lopburi Solar Farm in Thailand.
Past Experience
Mr Vian Davys brings over 20 years of experience in the renewable energy industry. He first joined CLP in 2017, and until 2020, held the position of Senior Director – Renewable Energy, and was responsible for oversight of renewable energy activities across CLP’s businesses.
After leaving CLP, Mr Vian Davys took up the role as CEO of Vantage RE Ltd., the European renewable energy subsidiary of Malaysian utility, TNB. Since 2021, he has led Vantage RE’s start-up and strategic development, with overall accountability for project origination, development, construction, asset management and financial optimisation of a diverse portfolio of 900MW of solar, onshore, and offshore wind, with more projects in development across a range of renewable energy technologies and battery storage.
