“Personal Data” in this statement has the same meaning as “personal data” defined under the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance, Cap 486 (“PDPO”), which may include but not limited to 1) your name, shareholder number, identification document, contact number, email address, postal address, age range, occupation, and your choice, 2) the emergency contact person’s name, mobile number and the relationship with you, 3) “Family Day” guest’s name and age, 4) the images of you and your guests which may be captured in photography during the visit. Except those personal data of the emergency contact person as mentioned in 2) above, the Personal Data is collected for the purposes of statistics, registration, verification and arrangement of your visit under the CLP Shareholders’ Visit Programme and promotion of the same programme; the personal data of the emergency contact person will only be used for communication if and when there may be any emergency situation occurred during the event. Your supply of the Personal Data to CLP is on a voluntary basis. However, CLP may not be able to process your application for the Shareholders’ Visit Programme unless you provide the required personal data. The Personal Data will be transferred to the Company’s service providers, cloud service providers (including those in and outside Hong Kong) and/or Company’s Registrars engaged for verifying the shareholder identity, printing and mailing the confirmation letter, receiving application ID and/or the promotion activities of the Shareholders’ Visit Programme, if necessary for any of the purposes stated above.
CLP will disclose the Personal Data when required to do so by law and may also disclose such Personal Data in response to requests from law enforcement agencies or regulatory authorities. You and other relevant data subjects have the right to request access to, the correction and/or erasure of, your Personal Data in accordance with, where applicable, the provisions of the PDPO, and any other data protection law as applicable. Any such request for access to, correction and/or erasure of your Personal Data, as well as withdrawal of consent, where applicable, should be by letter addressed to the Joint Company Secretary, CLP Holdings Limited, CLP Headquarters, 43 Shing Kai Road, Kai Tak, Kowloon, Hong Kong or email to shv@clp.com.hk.
