Mr Tomlinson was appointed as Chief Transformation Officer of CLP Power Hong Kong in July 2025 and is responsible for leading the ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) project and driving enterprise-wide process optimisation to realise the full value of CLP’s new ERP solution for CLP Power Hong Kong.  Mr Tomlinson also works closely with the ERP team and our vendor partners to provide clear direction and leadership for the project.​  He is a Director on the Board of CLP Power Hong Kong.

Mr Tomlinson has over 35 years of extensive experience in manufacturing, operations, and engineering, with a strong track record of leading large-scale operations and transformation programs across diverse industries such as utilities, advanced wound care manufacturing, and food processing.​

Before joining CLP, he served as Chief Operating Officer at Sembcorp Utilities (UK) and held senior leadership roles including Chief Operating Officer of Eggborough Power Ltd. (a 2,000MW coal-fired power plant) and Managing Director of Lynemouth Power Ltd. (a 420MW biomass-fired facility plant).​

Mr Tomlinson joined CLP Power in 2020 as Senior Director – Generation.  He was appointed as Chief Operating Officer – CLP Power in April 2022 and later served as Chief Operations & Transformation Officer – CLP Power Hong Kong from August 2024 to July 2025.
