Major Responsibilities Held with the Group
As the Senior Director - Group Internal Audit reporting to the Chairman of the Audit & Risk Committee, Mr Chan plays a major role in monitoring the internal governance and processes of the CLP Group for meeting its business objectives. He is also responsible for investigating business ethics, conflict of interest and other Company policy violations and issues to ensure CLP’s values and code of conduct standard are upheld.
Past Experience
Mr Chan joined CLP through Executive Trainee Programme in 2004. He has held various managerial positions across CLP Holdings and CLP Power Hong Kong and has experience in the energy business from finance, fuel and electricity procurement, strategic planning, commercial development, financial control and risk management. He was the Senior Director - Financial Control for CLP Power Hong Kong from February 2017 to July 2023.
